Refund Policy
Because all items are made to order and many are personalized, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds or returns for:
Change of mind
- Ordering the wrong item, design, or personalization
- Not liking the style, message, or size after receiving the item
- Delivery delays caused by the carrier or incorrect shipping information provided by the customer

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items
We stand behind the quality of our products. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect due to an error on our part, we will make it right.
Please:
- Inspect your order upon delivery.
- Contact us within 7 days of delivery at info@thetrendygems.com with:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photos of the item and packaging
Once we review your case, if approved, we will offer either:
- A replacement item, or
- A refund in the form of store credit
We do not offer cash refunds to the original payment method except where required by law.
Non-Returnable Items
Because of the custom, made-to-order nature of our products, personalized items cannot be returned or refunded unless they are damaged, defective, or incorrect due to our error.
Gift cards are also non-refundable.
European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
If your order is being shipped into the European Union, you may have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of delivery for non-personalized items only, for any reason and without justification, in line with local consumer laws.
To be eligible:
- The item must be non-personalized
- It must be in the same condition you received it: unworn/unused, with tags, and in the original packaging
- You’ll need proof of purchase
Personalized or custom-made items are excluded from this 14-day cooling-off period.
